 Purpose

REACH Early College  is an intervention program for students in Carroll County School System.  REACH partners with the University of West Georgia (UWG) and Carroll County School System.  Currently we have 50 eighth graders from all six middle schools in Carroll County. We are at Bay Springs Middle School in the 7th grade wing everyday except Wednesday in the fall.  On Wednesday, we are at UWG.

This Spring semester we will only be goingto UWG on the Friday of  every other week. We will begin this on Friday, January 15th.

Students user ID is their lunch number @ECM and their password is their birthdate. 
For example, if my lunch number is 12345 and my birthdate is Jan 1st, I would enter 12345@ECM as my user ID and 1/1/1999 as my password.


Upcoming Field Trips:
Nov. 7 - FOX Theatre in Atlanta
We will be leaving BSMS at 12 noon, attending the performance of "In the Heights", walking to the Varsity to eat, and then returning to BSMS around 7 PM.

Supply List:
Paper, Spiral notebook, Composition notebook, pencils, black and blue pens, calculator, 2MG flash drive

New Dress Code:
Polo shirt (any blue, red, white, gray or white), khaki, white, navy or black pants

Parent Night:
Oct. 6 from 6-7:30 PM  TOPICS: Community Service Groups, Brief Overviews of Courses, Parent Newsletters .

Thanks to AHR Grant our students will have many extraordinary experiences this coming school year.  A Georgia trip, Chorus, Chemistry and Physics classes at UWG, and trips to the ATL Opera, FOX Theatre and more!
